OLYMPUS BX53FL

The BX53FL from Olympus is a high-quality optical solution for observations that require reliable and sharp images. The microscope comes with both transmitted light (Brightfield) and fluorescence, making it ideal for research and advanced applications. The microscope includes 3 fluorescence filter cubes consisting of UV, Blue, and Green narrowband excitation filters. This means that the following microscope is perfect for the observation of DAPI, Alexa Fluor, GFP, FITC, and Cy3 (see the full fluorophore list in the specifications below). This configuration is designed with a universal reflected illuminator with 8 positions. Since one position must remain empty to use transmitted light, and three of the positions are used for the included excitation filters (filter cubes), there is the option to upgrade the remaining 4 positions with additional filters. The microscope is supplied with a coded 6-position objective turret, a coded control box, and a swing-out condenser.
