Olympus Silicone Immersion Oil (30mL)

Olympus Silicone Immersion Oil helps reduce spherical aberration by matching the refractive index of live cells and silicone oil, unlike traditional oils or water. This improves high-resolution 3D imaging of live cells and tissues, especially at deeper sample depths. Silicone oil also minimizes evaporation, even at 37°C, avoiding the need to frequently open incubators, which could affect the sample’s environment.

The oil is designed for use with silicone oil immersion lenses.
